David Beckham has announced that he will retire at the end of the season. PSG would have want to offer him one more year deal but the 38 years old midfielder decided that is best to hag up his boots.

This means an end of a golder era. Gary Neville was the first one who retired from his generation. Then after only a few months it was Paul Scholes but he returned to football field again and will hang up his boots also at the end of the season. Also Sir Alex Ferguson shocked everybody with his retirement. Now the only active player from that generation is Ryan Giggs but he will probably end the career in one or two years.

David Beckham is the most known English player all over the World. He has won trophies that most of the players are only dreaming of it with Manchester United and Real Madrid.

He is also the only English player who played and won the title in four different European countries with Manchester United, Real Madrid, Milan and PSG.

Beckham declared that he is proud of what he achieved in his career and wanted to thank PSG for giving him the opportunity to play in Champions League again. Beckham will probably feature in the last two games of the season with PSg against Brest and Lorient.
