Felippe Massa the second contender for the  title, won the race at Interlagos and for a period of two laps was the new F1 World Champion, but Hamilton managed to surpass  Glock in the final lap,who had dry tires, and take position five, enough to win the the title.

The race at Interlagos, was a quiet race until the end. From the beginning Fellipe Massa, who was racing in front of his own supporters and in his own country, leaded the race from the beginning, while Hamilton didn’t go lower than position five. What seemed to be a normal race, changed in the final laps, when Hamilton was surpassed by Vettel and lost position five.At that point with Hamilton in position six, Massa was the new F1 World Champion. But the luck was on Hamilton’s side, and after last season when he lost the title in the same place, this time he manage to win back position five after Glock slowed down, and win the F1 World Champion for the first time.

By winning the title he has broken a few records, becoming at 23 years old the youngest F1 World Champion in history.Meanwhile Ferrari will have to consolate with winning Constructors Chamionship.
