Only few days after selling Emmanuel Adebayor to Manchester City, Arsenal fans are already asking if they have a chance of winning a trophy this year.

Some of them even wonder if Arsenal can finish in top four. Despite all of this Wenger is confident and says that Arsenal will continue to do well. Wenger declared that big clubs have lost big players like Ronaldo, Kaka or Benzema but they will go on. Wenger is also known as a manager that does not like to spent lots of money on players.

The French manager declared that Arsenal does not need a replacement for Adebayor as they already have Eduardo, Van Persie, Walcott, Bendtner, Arshavin and Vela on that position but there are sources such as he would be interested in signing Martins from Newcastle.

The Magpies were relegated at the end of the season and they would be probably give up on their star players in order to reduce the wages. Martins would cost Arsenal around £7millions and would be a profitable transfer.

Other possible targets for Arsenal could be Huntelaar from Real Madrid and Gignac from Toulouse.

As he used to do with the past teams, Mourinho has begun the reconstruction at Inter giving up on some players and bringing those who likes and trust.

Inter not only had one of the numerous squad from Serie A, but also one with a high average age. Like Mourinho said the team was at the end of a cycle and fresh legs were needed.

Inter already gave up on players like Cruz, Adriano, Crespo, Maxwell but players like Vieira, Rivas, Burdisso, Suazo, Obinna, Mancini are also on list.

In exchange Inter brought in Milito, Motta , Lucio and Hleb who is close to join Mourinho’s team.

Inter may give up also on their star player Zlatan Ibrahimovic who is wanted by Barcelona, Manchester United and Chelsea.

Anyway Mourinho’s main objective this year is Champions League and Moratti is willing to accept any sacrifice in order to match his ambitions.

Is this the new galaticos era for Real Madrid?

Only few days after signing Kaka from Milan, Real Madrid announced another transfer, the biggest ever, Ronaldo from Manchester United.

Manchester United have finally accepted the €96 millions bid for their Portuguese star after refusing to negotiate for more then a year.

With this transfer Real is beating his previous record dating from 2001 when they signed Zidane from Juventus. And Florentino Perez is not going to stop here. The new Real Madrid president is also interested in signing David Villa  and Maicon in order to build a new powerful team at Bernabeu.

If all this transfers will be done this team would overcome the galacticos regarding transfer amounts. In order to reduce the financial loss, Real Madrid president announced that all current players are transferable except for one or two of them.

With all this said we are asking ourselves if there is a financial crisis for everybody, or if football is only a game. All we can say is that football, and sports in general, have evolved so much that is difficult for many teams to keep pace.

Another question would be if Real can recover from the bad shape and to be the best in the World again. Probably many of us are still remember that invincible team with Zidane, Figo, Ronaldo that used to make spectacle every match. But to be successful doesn’t mean to be spectaculous.

Real Madrid keeps buying middfielders and forwards but not defenders and I’m afraid that this is the main reason for their insucces.
