5

Scouting for talents has become more important for most of the clubs in the last couple of years. The most important teams that rely on young players are Arsenal, Ajax and maybe even Fiorentina.

Every year new talented players are discovered. Unfortunately only some of them became word-class players.

I’ve made a list with the top ten most promising young strikers. Maybe there are others that I don’t know about them or maybe the top is different in your view.

Here is my top ten most promising strikers:

1. Karim Benzema

Benzema is a product of the Lyon academy. The 21 year-old French international is the main target for the most important clubs in Europe. He already established into the France national team and was recently voted as the best player in France.

2. Sergio Aguerro

Aguerro who’s currently playing for Atletico Madrid began his professional career in Argentina at Independiente. The 20 year-old international holds the record for the youngest player in Argentina Primera Division, debuting at the at age of 15.

3. Alexandre Pato

Pato is currently playing for AC Milan but started his career at Independiente, the same as Aguerro. The young Brazilian is at his second season in Serie A were he managed to play in the detriment of players like Inzaghi, Shevchenko,

4. Bojan Krkic

Bojan is a product of the Barcelona academy. He made the first appearance for Barcelona’s first team last year and it was of the Rijkaard favorites.

5. Mario Balotelli

Balotelli played for Lumezzane befor moving to Inter. The 18 year-old player gained his first appearance for Inter at the end of 2007 against Cagliari.

6. Carlos Vela

Vela started his career at Chivas de Guadalajara in Mexic. The 20 year old Mexican played for Osasuna, Salamanca and Celta Vigo before moving to Arsenal. Vela has won the World-Cup U-17 final in 2005 and was awarded with the Golden boot tournament.

7. Keirrison

Keirrison started his career at Coritiba before moving this year to Palmeiras. The 20 year-old Brazilian already scored 13 goals in 10 appearances for Palmeiras and is one of the most wanted players from South America. Liverpool already tried to sign the player this winter but the transfer didn’t realized.

8. Alexis Sanchez

Sanchez is currently playing for Udinese for which he already made 22 appearances this season. The 20 year-old Chilean started his career at Cobreloa and he played also for Colo-Colo and River Plate.

9. Marquinhos

The same as Keirrison, Marquinhos is also playing for Palmeiras. The 19 year-old Brazilian started his career at Vitoria.

10. Henri Saivet

Saivet is currently playing for Bordeaux. The 18 year-old French player is the youngest profesional player from Bordeaux history and is often compared to Henry.

Top five managers that could be sacked until the end of the season

1

Only few games have been played in the second part of the championship and there are already teams that have changed their coaches even twice this season.

This demonstrates that the times when the club owners had patience with the coaches even if they did not had the expected results have past long ago and now most of them are sacking their managers if they do not have immediate results.

After big names like Scolari from Chelsea or Ramos from Tottenham there are other coaches from big clubs on the way out.

The top five managers are:

1. Carlo Ancelotti from Milan.

Ancelotti is more closer to leave Milan after failing to meet the season expectation. Milan were eliminated from Uefa Cup by Werder Bremen despite leading 2-0 at halftime and they only needed a victory to qualify. The things are not going well also in Serie A were they were beaten by Sampdoria 2-1.

AC Milan are currently on third position and if they will finish on a lower position then Ancelotti might leave.

2. Juande Ramos from Real Madrid.

Despite having great results in Primera lately, were they managed to get closer on Barcelona and now they can hope again for the title, things are not going well also in Champions League were they were beaten at Bernabeu by Liverpool.

An eventual exit from Champions League could be fatal for Ramos.

3. Jurgen Klinsmann from Bayern.

Despite doing really well in Champions League were they won the group and now in the second leg they achieved a fantastic result by beating Sporting 5-0 in Portugal, the things are not going the same in Bundesliga were they managed to win only 4 points in last five games.

Bayern is currently on fifth place, four points behind the leaders Hertha Berlin.

4. Rafa Benitez from Liverpool

As usually Liverpool are having great results in Champions League. They had an excellent start of the season also in Premier League were they managed to stay on top for a time but finally the things have complicated.

Liverpool are currently on third position and if we are thinking at Manchester form we can say that they don’t have a chance for the title.

5. Mark Hughes from Manchester City.

Despite investing over €100 millions only this year the team is on a disappointing eleventh place at only five points from the relegation. In Uefa Cup the things are going a little better where they managed to qualify to the next round.

Anyway Mark Hughes’s fate will be decided at the end of the season depending on the team final position.

However most of the times the coaches that were sacked after a short time proved them self at another club.

This proves that the club owners are wrong and they should take example on other teams like Manchester or Arsenal which managed to keep their coaches for several seasons.
Sir Alex Ferguson is the manager of Manchester for 22 seasons now and his results are extraordinary.
