This “El Clasico” between Spain’s and Europe’s two formidable giant football clubs Barcelona and Real Madrid was decided in favor of Barcelona.Barcelona defeated it’s all time fierce rival by two goals to nil,and managed to break Madrid resistance.
The goals were scored by Etoo and Messi, and came rather late, the deadlock was broken only seven minutes from time.Madrid goalkeeper Casilias failed from preventing a loss for his team , although he had saved a second half time penalty and performed some sensational stops, this was not enough in the end.
The game started in a dynamic way, and in the first twenty minutes Barcelona put huge pressure on Madrid‘s defence, Messi beeing the leader of Barca’s attack,however it was Madrid who had the first-half’s best chance when Royston Drenthe out-paced Daniel Alves.
In the end it was a deserved win for Barcelona, and the “Pep Show Boys” have now 12 points ahead of their fierce rivals.This was also Juande Ramos first domestic game as the new coach of Real Madrid.
