Will Richards leave City?

0

Last season Micah Richards was decided to leave the club as he was the third option for the right back position after Pablo Zabaleta and Maicon.

The things have changed after Manuel Pellegrini took over the club as he is an adept of the rotation policy. Richards has not played in Premier League yet but started the game against Bayern Munchen in Champions League.

It look like the England international is satisfied with this rotation and he is determined to wait for his chance.

Manchester City have put a £15 millions tag on his name under Mancini but is believed that they are convinced to keep him at the club for long period. The club are willing to offer him a new long term deal in order to remove the potential buyers.

Newcastle United are interested in buying him and have already approached City over the player.

Richards made 177 appearances for the club since 2005 and 13 appearances for the England team.

Galatasaray have announced that they reached an agreement with Roberto Mancini. The Italian coach has signed a three years deal with the Turkish giants. The contract value is of €4.5 a year.

Mancini will replace Fatih Terim who was sacked by the club after an altercation with the president.

Mancini was a free agent since he left Manchester City last summer. Lucescu and Hagi where the other names on the list but Mancini was the first option and more accessible.

Galatasaray have not started the season too well as they are on 10th position in Super Liga with only 7 points from 5 games and have lost their first group game in Champions League against Real Madrid.

Mancini started his coach career at Fiorentina. He also coached Lazio, Inter and Manchester City before joining Galatasaray.

AS Roma  have confirmed that they reached an agreement over extending Francesco Totti’s deal with two years. The Italian striker’s contract was about to expire next year and the club decided to add two more years to the contract.

Totti declared that he is delighted with the new deal and that it is something that both parts wanted. He also wanted to thank the president for offering him the opportunity to finish his career at his beloved club. Unlike Juventus or Real Madrid, Roma decided to hold on on their captain and offer him a new contract.

Even if Totti is 36 already he is still an important player for Roma, and the statistics prove that. His recent form added him into consideration for Italy’s squad.

Totti made Roma debut in 1992 and since then he won Serie A, Coppa Italia and Supercoppa Italiana.
