0

Cristiano Ronaldo is by far one of the best football players in the World. He won the Golden Ball one time and only Messi can match with him at this time.

Ronaldo came at Real Madrid for a record sum of €94 millions. Since then Ronaldo became a vital part of the squad. Ronaldo has an extraordinary goal percentage of almost 1 goal per game. The Portuguese superstar has 121 goals in 123 game for Real Madrid.

Paolo Maldini is one of the football legends. The former Italian international is considered by many the best left-back in the history.

In 2009 Maldini ended a 24 years of football career. Maldini was formed by Milan youth academy and made 647 Serie A appearances for the senior team.

The latest rumors suggest that Maldini will be part of Ancelotti’s coaching staff starting from next year. Also the former Milan star admitted that  he would love to work again with Ancelotti and Leonardo.

Inter in danger of losing contact with the podium

0

Inter have reduced their title chances after surprisingly losing at Giuseppe Meazza against the last team in Serie A standings, Novara.

Novara have scored the only goal of the game  at one of the few counterattacks. Inter have dominated the game but the finishing was disastrous again.

Many football specialists  are saying that every cycle has a period of supremacy of around 4-5 years and after that the worst is coming. It looks like it’s the case at Inter Milan who were at the relegation after around 10 games. After Ranieri took control everything looked to be normal again but it seems that the big problems have not disappeared. The main problem is that Inter have an old squad and maybe the players have lost their hunger for success after winning the treble in 2010.

Now Inter are 11 points behind their city rivals who are topping the Serie A table and 6 points behind 3rd place, occupied by Lazio, the last one that can send them in Champions League.

Will Shaqiri replace Robben at Bayern?

0

Bayern have announced the signing of talented winger Xherdan Shaqiri from Basel. The Switzerland international will join Bayern next summer as the transfer window is closed.

The transfer sum is not specified but probably the deal is around €10 millions. Shaqiri will sign a four years deal with the German giants and will have to compete with Arjen Robben and Frank Ribery for a starting place as the talented midfielder can play on both sides of the field.

The 20 years old International made his debut at Basel in 2009 and since then he became a key player. Shaqiri has already 17 caps and 4 goals for his national squad.

Shaqiri comes at Bayern as a substitute for Robben or Ribery and as a long term replacement for them but many specialists are seeing the youngster in the first team from the beginning. And this could be possible as Robben gets injured often and his form has decreased. There are a few contestants that suggest that Bayern are playing better without him as he is also a selfish player.

However he will play from the beginning or after a few games Shaqiri deal looks like a very good deal for Bayern.

Anzhi Makhachjala are interested in signing Inter’s playmaker Wesley Sneijder. The Russian club are one of the new big spenders in football.

After signing Samuel Eto’o, Anzhi tried to sign another players from Inter but they failed with Maicon or Chivu. Now their newest target is Wesley Sneijder.

The Dutchman was also in Manchester United attention and at a time everything looked set but the transfer never materialized. It’s hard to believe that Sneijder will leave Inter for Anzhi but everything is possible in football. Anzhi would offer Sneijder a contract of around €8 millions and €25 millions to Inter.

The former Real Madrid player who was close to win the Golden Ball in 2010 had a less successful season.
