Anzhi are interested in Sneijder

Anzhi Makhachjala are interested in signing Inter’s playmaker Wesley Sneijder. The Russian club are one of the new big spenders in football.

After signing Samuel Eto’o, Anzhi tried to sign another players from Inter but they failed with Maicon or Chivu. Now their newest target is Wesley Sneijder.

The Dutchman was also in Manchester United attention and at a time everything looked set but the transfer never materialized. It’s hard to believe that Sneijder will leave Inter for Anzhi but everything is possible in football. Anzhi would offer Sneijder a contract of around €8 millions and €25 millions to Inter.

The former Real Madrid player who was close to win the Golden Ball in 2010 had a less successful season.

Inter loaned Palombo from Sampdoria

Inter have loaned Palombo from Sampdoria with the option to buy him at the end of the season.

Palombo declared that there where a few clubs interested in him but when Inter approach him he knew that’s the best option. The former Fiorentina man made his debut at Inter in 4-4 draw against Palermo.

Angelo Palombo came at Inter as a replacement for Motta who joined PSG in the last day of the transfer window. The 30 years old midfielder reunites with Pazzini and Poli with whom he played at Sampdoria.

Palombo spent most of his senior career at Sampdoria. He made 22 also appearances for Italy.

QPR signed Djibril Cisse

QPR have signed Djibril Cisse from Lazio in the last day of the transfer window.

The transfer sum is believed to be around €5 millions and the player will sign a contract that will long for two years. The 30 years old striker failed to meet the expectations at Lazio as he scored only one goal in 18 games.

QPR manager Mark Hughes expressed his delight at signing the player he wanted also at Manchester City. The manager also declared that he rates Cisse very high.

The 30 years old attacker declared that he is happy with the move, as the Premier League is the best championship in the World, and that he wants to prove that he can face it after the past experiences at Liverpool and Sunderland. He was also impressed by long term project presented by the manager.

Cisse started his career at Auxerre from where he moved to Liverpool in 2004. The other teams from his CV are Marseille, Sunderland and  Panathinaikos.

PSG sign Alex

Paris Saint-Germain have signed Chelsea defender Alex. The player has signed a contract of two and a half year deal. The transfer sum is believed to be around €6 millions.

The Brazilian defender was used  more as a substitute after Andre Villas-Boas took Chelsea as coach. Now after Cahil’s arrival his playing time would have been more limited. Alex was wanted by Ancelotti who previously worked with him at Chelsea.

The 29 years old defender declared that he is happy with the move and knows that he would have more chances to play for his new club.

The Brazilian defender has 18 appearances for his National squad and played during his career for Santos, Chelsea and PSV.

Milan signed Maxi Lopez

Milan have announced the signing of Maxi Lopez from Catania.

The transfer sum is not known yet. Lopez looks to be more like a  backup solution for Ibrahimovic. It’s hard to believe that he will be a first choice at Milan.

The Italian giants had an agreement with Catania and the player for some time now but their primary target was Tevez from Manchester City. Milan have already reached an agreement with Tevez but they have not City’s permission. Cassano and Pato are injured and Lopez could be helpful until the Brazilian will be ready to play again.

Lopez played during his career for teams like River Plate, Barcelona, Mallorca, Cska Moskow and Gremio.
