0

Raul‘s contract at Schalke is going to expire next summer and there are still doubts about a new deal.

A few months ago the Schalke board announced that they will not offer Raul a new deal as they considered him too old to help the club when his current deal will expire. The former Real Madrid captain will be 35 next summer.

Now after more quality games they announced that they will negotiate a new deal next month. Also Raul is confident that he will get a new deal.

The Spanish striker is still one of the best strikers in the World despite the fact that he is not so young. It is well known that strikers have their best moments when they are between 28-32 years old.

The 27 years old striker  arrived at Chelsea last winter for a sum of £50 millions,  a transfer sum which is a record between two Premier League clubs, but failed to emulate the form he had a t Liverpool. Torres scored only 3 goals for Chelsea and that is the main reason why he was transfer listed.

Torres was suppose to resolve Chelsea attack problems but he failed. The London club intended to loan him at first time but they changed their mind after all in order to recover some of the money spent on him.

There are a few clubs interested in signing Torres but there is no official bid for him at this time.

Tevez future at Man City is over that’s for sure but his next destination is not know yet.

The Argentine international still has not returned from his native country. Tevez  motivated his decision with a paper from his doctor which attests that he is not emotionally ready to leave the country.

Milan officials have admitted that they receive the permission to talk with the player about a possible move. Their intention is to loan him until the end of the summer with the option to make the move permanently. The buy out clause would be around €15 millions.

If he will accept Milan offer Tevez would significantly reduce his wages. Mancini declared that he would be happy to see the player leave in January as he can’t see his future at City anymore.

What’s really interesting is that at Milan there are already a few players that arrived the the club after arguing with their former coaches. It’s the case of Ibrahimovic, Cassano and Robinho.

Will Inter finish top three this season?

0

Inter have five consecutive Serie A titles in the last six seasons and everybody expects them to finish top of the table every season but it looks like this season it won’t be that way.

After 12 games Inter are on a disastrous 15th position. This is one of the worst starts of the season.

The Serie A giants have the same points like Bologna, the first team on top of the relegation line. Everything is negative for Inter this season. Inter have scored 14 goals but they receive 18 instead.

The former Champions League winners have only four wins this season with Siena, Bologna, Cagliari, Chievo and only one of them at more than one goal difference.

Moratti changed the team objective from winning the title to top three at the end of the season. That’s because Italy have lost one Champions League place in Germany’s favor.

Finishing on the 3rd position would ensure them a place in the Champions League Qualification phase.
