Juventus to sign Vucinic

Mirko Vucinic will not be a Roma player for much long as he is awaited in Turin to complete his transfer to Juventus.
It looks like both clubs have reach an agreement over the transfer sum which is around 15 millions.
Also the Montenegrin player is pleased with the salary offered by Juventus.
Juventus were searching for a striker whole summer with Sergio Aguero,Giuseppe Rossi, Adebayor and Mirko Vucinic. In the end Vucinic was the best solution as the player is not that expensive and he can play in multiple positions and formations.
Juventus are trying hardly to become again a force in Europe after several years in which they had more problems
Vucinic came at Roma from Lecce in 2006 and he developed into a key player for the squad.
The attacker scored 46 goals in 147 appearances for AS Roma.

Manchester City sign Kun Aguero

What was expected for some days finally happened. Manchester City have announced the transfer of Sergio Aguero from Atletico Madrid.

The transfer sum is thought to be around €40 millions. The Argentinian star was offered a five years deal and  one of the biggest salaries at City.

“The Cittizens” have not waited for Tevez to leave the club as they already found a replacement for him. Tevez was linked with  clubs like Corinthians, Real Madrid or Inter but so far no club has made an official offer.

Aguero came at Atletico Madrid from Independiente. In five years spent at Atletico the 23 years old forward scored 74 goals in 175 games.

Another two signings for PSG

PSG have announced the signing of two French international, Jeremy Menez from AS Roma and Blaise Matuidi from Saint Etienne.

The transfer sums are not known but it is believed that both players have signed three years deals.

The moves were expected to be finalized as both players have not trained with the former clubs since last week.

PSG are trying to become once again a dominant force in France and Europe. Those two moves are showing exactly the intentions of the club leaders.

There are a few more star players on PSG target but it’s only at formal stage yet. The most important names from that list are Zarate from Lazio  and Javier Pastore from Palermo.

Chelsea to sign Courtois from Genk

Chelsea have confirmed that they will sign  Thibaut Courtois from Genk.

The 19 years old goalkeeper, who was named the goalkeeper of the year in Belgium last season, attracted the attention of numerous clubs. Chelsea have decided that it’s time to make a move for the Belgian goalkeeper.

It’s not know yet if Courtois will be kept at the club as a backup solution for more experienced Petr Cech or will be loaned to other team in order to gain first team experience.

Some of the experts already consider this as a bad move for the Belgian young keeper and that he will waste his talent.

Courtois begun his professional career at Genk where he made 41 appearances.
