Romelu Lukaku the next Mourinho’s galacticos?

Jose Mourinho recently declared that his squad need one more striker as they can not play the full season with only two strikers available and it looks like Lukaku, the Anderlecht youngster, is one of the favorites to reach at Bernabeu.

The 17 years old player who is regarded as one of the most promising talents in Europe is the target for almost all big teams in Europe. There are speculations that Chelsea and Anderlecht have already reach an agreement for the next summer.

Mourinho seems to be willing to offer €20 millions now to be sure that he will not miss the player.

Lukaku is the third youngest player that scored in a European competition. The “New Drogba” scored 19 goals for Anderlecht last season and was already called by Dick Advocaat at Belgium senior squad.

Fabregas to Barcelona, Maicon to Real or Robinho to Milan are the transfers that could compete with those made by Manchester City this summer.

The previous season transfer record of €157millions was overtaken only by Real Madrid who spent the fabulous sum of €257millions on transfers.

It looks like this season Mancini wants to break all records. Not less than 10 players are still on Mancini’s list. Frank Ribery is one of them and the transfer sum could be around €60millions. Also Liverpool stars Steven Gerrard and Fernando Torres are among the players wanted by Mancini and could cost him €50millions each.

Barcelona’s prolific striker Ibrahimovic is also wanted, with City offering €46millions. Also Balotelli is closer to sign for City for the sum of €30millions.

Another two players wanted at City of Manchester stadium are David Luiz and James Milner who could come for €29.5millions respectively €26 millions.

Luis Fabiano for €26millions and Marek Hamsik for €24millions are the last two players on the list.

If we count the sum spent until now €91.25millions with €372millions in case all this transfers would take place then we could assist at the largest amount spent one season in the history of football transfers.

Big blow for Fiorentina as Jovetic will be out for around 7 months

Fiorentina‘s wonderkid Stevan Jovetic will be out for around 7 months with a knee ligament damage.

The Montenegro footballer will undergo surgery  in the next couple of days. Jovetic injured in a training session after a clash with Mario  Bolatti.

Fiorentina had their higher hopes on Jovetic this year. The club refused to sell the player and also Jojo resisted the temptation of Barcelona, Arsenal or Manchester, clubs who were very interested in signing him.

Now Fiorentina and Mihajlovic will have to do it without two of its star players, Jovetic who is injured and Mutu who is suspended.

The Viola fans are asking themselves if the club is somehow cursed with all this bad luck on them.

Anyway some of the most optimistic supporters hope that Ljajic and Babacar will take advantage of the situation.

Fiorentina hope that this year will reenter into the Champions League curse after a disappointing last season when they finished 11th.

Genoa signed Miguel Veloso from Sporting

Genoa have manage to capture one of the most wanted Portuguese by signing Miguel Veloso from Sporting Lisabon.
Veloso was in the attention of the big Serie A and Premier League clubs since last summer but no team has made a concrete move until now.
The transfer sum is supposed to be around €9millions and 20% from the profit of eventually next sale. There are reports claiming that the 24 years old midfielder has signed a 4 years contract at Genoa.

The player admitted that  the financial part was not that important as the opportunity to play in a better league.

Veloso played 94 games for Genoa and made 14 appearances for his national team. By bringing Veloso to the club Genoa will try to fill the void left by Thiago Motta who left for Inter Milan last summer.

Also there are rumors that Shalke wing back Rafinha will join the team. Gasperini was looking also for a good full-back and Rafinha is the  best option around.

Rafinha was always in the starting line-up for Shalke since his arrival from Coritiba in 2005.
