Gary Neville decided to hang up his boots

Gary Neville announced that he decided to retire from professional football. The long live defender is one of the few football players who activated for only one club.

The 36 years old defender started his career at Manchester United in 1991. He was promoted to the first team in 1992 where he played over 600 games. Neville became the captain of the team in 2005.

The former English international is the most capped right back for England where he made 85 appearances.

Gary Neville was promoted approximately in the same time with other legendary players like David Beckham, Ryan Giggs, Nicky Butt or Paul Scholes.

The veteran full back has won almost every trophy with Manchester United. The decision will not fall so good for the players. Even if he had not played too much lately Neville is very appreciated by his colleagues and he will definitely be miss.

Also Sir Alex Ferguson praised his former man and declared that he was one of the best professional player he ever train.
