Tottenham and Newcastle invested a lot of money in recent years, hoping to secure a Champions League place.

Of course is too early to tell but at the moment the relegation is more closer than a European place for both of the teams.
Tottenham are facing the worst ever start of the season with only 2 points from 8 matches meanwhile Newcastle have 5 points but one less game.
Sir Bobby Robson hopes that the new owner will appoint Alan Shearer as manager, the only man that could save Newcastle in his vision.
As for the Tottenham manager the situation can’t be worse. A group of supporters have planed a mass protest for Tottenham’s next game against Bolton.
Even Ramos admitted that he is woried about the situation but he still has the chairman and players support. Tottenham poor form might be also the result of selling two of the most most influential players  Berbatov and Keane.
If the following matches do not bring any changes is likely to see a dismisall.

This weekend brought in Serie A the top match between Roma and Inter. From the beginning Inter was the favorite team on the paper, and everyone expected Inter to win but nobody could have guessed the proportions of the score.Inter smashed Roma in front of it’s own supporters in a 4-0 victory win securing Serie A top place with a difference of two points in front of second place teams Udinese, Catania and Napoli who won against Juventus .

After just five minutes into the game at the Stadio Olimpico, Zlatan Ibrahimović opened the score after racing on to a long ball and lobbing Doni.He also scored the second goal with a calm finish after Sulley Muntani’s pass. Dejan Stanković increased the lead with a fine half-volley and in similar style Victor Obinna claimed a goal on his first Serie A start for Inter.

After last season Roma was Inter‘s contenders to the title, this year they occupy 14th place and it seems that this year they will be struggling to avoid the relegation.

He has scored so many times and won so many points for his team at Liverpool that he became irreplaceable.Unfortunately Fernando Torres got injured and we’ll miss the next three important matches, against Wigan Athletic, Athletico Madrid in Champions League, and Chelsea. So the question now is will Liverpool be able to cope with this situation, and how important Torres‘s missing will be for the Liverpool fans?Is Liverpool strong enough without Torres or, is it the kind of team that depends on only one player?

Since Rafa Benitez said that he is very disappointed loosing Torres,it seems that Liverpool fans can worry about the next matches, and start questioning whether the management should consider transferring more world class players rather than having to depend on just one like Torres.

Milan were after Beckham two years ago when he decided to not renew the contract with Real but the England international has chosen LA Galaxy.
The Rossoneri don’t have a right band player and Beckham would be a good option. This would be another big transfer move for Milan this season after Ronaldinho and Schevcenko signings.
Milan are in trying to reconstruct the team after a disappointing season when they failed to qualify for Champions League.

What’s really strange is that Milan are still signing old players when that are supposed to rejuvenate their team.
