Demba Ba close to Chelsea

0

Chelsea have activated the release clause for Newcastle striker Demba Ba. Now it’s all up to the player to decide his future.

The release clause is £7.5 millions, not so much if we consider the huge amount of moneys spent by Chelsea until now.

The Senegalese striker is having an excellent season with Newcastle where he scored 13 goals.  The 27 years old forward is second in the Premier League goalscorers standings after Van Persie.

If the transfer will materialize it would be another good transfer for Newcastle. The Magpies signed Demba Ba for free in 2011 from West Ham United. This means a £7.5 millions profit from one player in just one season.

The player was not included on the list of players who will face Everton tonight. Arsenal and Juventus were also interested in signing the player but probably Chelsea are now the favorites for his signature. Register now and get a Casino Tropez bonus code.

Liverpool to sign Sturridge in January

Latest news from Premier League suggest that Chelsea’s striker Daniel Sturridge is close to an agreement with Liverpool.

Liverpool are looking for a striker that can help Suarez upfront. The 23 years old forward had limited playing time at Chelsea this season and is ready for a new adventure. The transfer sum will be around €15 millions.

Even if he is still young and talented there are some fans and specialists that are not seeing this as a good move for Liverpool.

That’s mostly because Liverpool spent a lot on British players that failed to add something to the team. The best examples here are Andy Caroll, Downing, Henderson, Allen, Adam, Johnson and the list is even bigger.

Even so Brendan Rodgers, the Liverpool manager, is confident that Sturridge can help the club fill the expectations at the end of the season.

Juventus looking to strengthen their attack

Juventus are searching for a strong  striker for some time. Drogba, Llorente and Lewandowski were on top of their list also last summer but none of the transfers materialized. Drogba has chosen the money from China instead performance at the highest level with Juventus while Lewandowski and Llorente were too expensive.

In the end Bentner arrived at Juventus on loan from Arsenal but this was probably only a temporary solution. Now when the transfer window is near Juventus are preparing for negotiations again.

Probably Drogba would be the easiest target to bring but the differences between the offer and demand is big. Drogba wants a two years contract while Juventus are prepared to offer a six months with the option to add another year to the contract. Llorente would became a free agent in the summer but it’s hard to believe that Athletic will let him leave earlier.

As for Lewandowski,  Dortmund are prepared to let him leave if a good offer arrives but not earlier than the end of the season.

Where will Beckham play next season?

0

David Beckham is one of the greatest British player ever. The 37 years old is the most capped England player if we made exception from the goalkeepers.

Even if he past his prime, Beckham is still a target for many clubs from around the World. And that’s because of his image and the marketing stuff.

The former England international left Real Madrid for LA Galaxy five years ago for a fabulous contract. Now after that experience Beckham declared that he needs one last challenge. He  stated that he would love to play in Champions  League again but that depends on which teams will offer him a deal.

Even if there are clubs from Australia or Asia interested in signing him Beckham will probably opt for a European team. QPR, Tottenham, Monaco or West Ham are only a few teams that would bring him to their squad.

Will Bale join Real Madrid in the summer?

0

Gareth Bale is one of the best and at the same time one of the most wanted players in the World.

At the age of only 23 he is considered the best winger in Premier League. His a player with great speed, shooting and dribbling abilities.

His price tag is set to €60 millions and only a few teams can match that. Real Madrid are in pole position if we consider the good relations between Tottenham and Madrid. Also it’s hard to believe that Tottenham will accept any offers from Premier League teams.

Villas-Boas, the club manager, declared just after the derby win against Liverpool that Bale could be sold if the right price comes. Of course that Tottenham would prefer to keep him but sometimes you can’t do anything about it.
