AC Milan loaned Zapata

0

AC Milan confirmed the signing of Cristian Zapata on one year loan deal from Villareal.

Milan were interested in signing the Columbia international also a few years ago but Udinese did not want to sale one of their best players to a  rival team.

Zapata came at Milan to replace Thiago Silva who left the Italian giants for PSG. Silva is considered one of the best defender in the World and that could add more pressure on Zapata.

The 25 years old defender is confident that he can fill the void left by Silva’s and Nesta’s departure and become an important player for Milan.

AC Milan are also interested in signing Giuseppe Rossi from Villareal. Also the Italian striker declared that he would not say no to an offer from Milan.

Will Sahin leave Real Madrid?

0

Nuri Sahin came at Real Madrid last year from Borussia Dortmund for €10 millions. Considering his age and his qualities everybody expected him to develop into a key player for Real Madrid. But that unfortunately did not happen.

Sahin rarely featured into the first eleven and could be on his way out of Santiago Bernabeu. Also Jose Mourinho declared that Sahin might leave the Spanish giants in order to make room for new signings.

Arsenal and Tottenham are reported to be interested in signing the Turkish midfielder but nothing clear at this moment.

If the former Dortmund player will not leave he might have to change his position as he will have more chances of playing as a left-back then in central midfield. Sahin played in that position in a few friendlies and considering that Coentrao is the only available player for that position he might take his chance.

PSG sign Verratti

PSG have completed the signing of Marco Verratti from Pescara. The 19 years old midfielder had a great season with Pescara and that attracted the interest from Serie A teams. The Italian wonderkid made 31 appearances in Serie B with Pescara.

The transfer sum is believed to be around €12 millions. Juve and Milan were the favorites to land the Italy Under-21 player but it looks like PSG won the race. Verratti who is already called “the new Pirlo” declared that he cannot wait to play in Champions League.

The specialist have some doubts regarding his accommodation in Paris as the player has not played outside Pescara.

Liverpool sign Borini

Liverpool have announced the signing of the Italian striker Fabio Borini from Roma.

The 21 years old forward leaves Roma after only one season. The Italian striker scored 9 goals in 24 appearances for Roma last season and was part of the Italy squad at Euro 2012. The transfer sum is believed to be around €11 millions.

Brendan Rodgers, the new Liverpool manager, was the one who insisted for the signing. Rodgers had Borini under his command twice in the past. At Chelsea when Borini was only 16 years old, and after that at Swansea where he also made a big impression.

It remains to see how Borini will do at Liverpool as the previous Italians failed to make an impact.

Where will Van Persie play next season?

0

What most sportsbook reviews were predicting, even a few months ago, is more likely to happen. Van Persie will not sign a new deal with Arsenal and Wenger will probably decide to sell him in order to not lose him for free next summer. The lack of trophies in the last couple of years determined players like Adebayor, Fabregas, Clichy, Nasri to leave the club.

Even that there are still hopes for the Arsenal fans that Van Persie will stay it’s hard to believe that this will happen. Many of the fans tough that after securing a Champions League place the negotiations with the team captain will be much easier but it wont be the case.

The only thing that could make him change his mind would be a strong summer transfer campaign.

Juventus, Man City and Man United and not lastly Barcelona are among the interested teams in signing the 28 years old striker.
