Atletico Madrid sign Arda Turan from Galatasaray

Altetico Madrid have confirmed the signing of Turkish international Arda Turan from Galatasaray Istambul.

Atletico Madrid have not wasted the time after selling Kun Aguero to Manchester City. Arda Turan was on Atletico’s list for a few seasons now but they have not made the move until now.

The Spanish club is also in advanced negotiations for Falcao from Porto. It is supposed that Atletico Madrid have offered €25 millions plus Salvio.

The 24 years old midfielder will sign a four years deal with the Primera club. Turan is a product of Galatasaray youth academy and was promoted to the first team in 2004 by Gheorghe Hagi.

The talented midfielder has made 145 appearance for Galatasaray and scored 24 goals. At the national team he scored 11 goals in 44 appearances.

Chelsea to sign Lukaku

Chelsea have finally managed to sign Romelu Lukaku from Anderlecht. The 18 years old striker was one of the main targets for Chelsea since last winter but the Belgian club refused to sell him.

The Belgian wonderkid was one of the best players for Anderlecht last season and keeping him at the Belgian for another year was getting more and more difficult.

Lukaku is expected in London next week to undergo the medical exam and sign the contract with Chelsea.
The transfer sum is not know yet but the Anderlecht manager said that the move is profitable for both the player and the club.

With this move done Chelsea will probably sell one of Kalou or Anelka because there will be no room for them in the attack.

Lukaku made his senior debut at only 16 years old and is considered one of the best European youth product.

Sporting Lisbon signed Jeffren

Sporting have announced the signing of the Spain U-21 international Jeffren from FC Barcelona. The transfer sum is believed to be around €3.5 millions.

Jeffren Suarez has signed a five years contract with a €30 millions release clause inserted into the deal.

Jeffren declared that he is more than happy with the transfer as he is hoping for more playing time. The 23 years old winger played only 23 games since he was promoted to Barcelona first team.

There are reports from Spain that Barcelona have put a buy back price on the talented midfielder which will be  available for the next two years.

The Spanish midfielder was initially included in the deal that brought Alexis Sanchez to Camp Nou but the player was not interested in a move to Serie A.

Sevilla, Valencia and Atletico Madrid were also interested in signing Jeffren but Sporting have won the race.
