Manchester City signed Nasri in the end

Manchester City have finally managed to sign Arsenal midfielder Samir Nasri. The French international was unhappy at his former club and expressed his desire to leave the  London club a few times recently.

Arsene Wenger decided to cash in the player now in order to not lose him on a free next summer when his contract with Arsenal was due to expire.

Manchester City paid £24 millions for the talented playmaker and offered him a four years deal around £180.000 a week.

Wenger lost 3 key players this summer in Gael Clichy, Cesc Fabregas and Samir Nasri but he will have at his disposal around £100 millions to strengthen the team. Those important loses might have a negative impact on Arsenal players and this could cost them their place in the Champions League.

Arsenal have a minor advantage over Udinese after first leg of the Champions League play-off. Wenger and his players will definitely  have a tough test today in Italy today in the second leg.

Roma to sign Kjaer

Roma have found a replacement for Mexes who joined Milan this summer after his deal expired with the Roman club.

Roma and Wolfsburg have reach to an agreement over the transfer of the Danish defender Simon Kjaer. The 22 years old defender spent only one year in Bundesliga. He was transferred from Serie A side Palermo last year for a sum of around €12 millions.

Wolfsburg had title and Champions League aspiration at the start of the season but they finally found themselves battling against relegation.

The defender will cost Roma only €10 millions, a sum that will be payed surprisingly in two years. The Serie A side will pay initially only €2 millions  and the rest will be payed next year.

Kjaer started his career at Midjylland in 2007 where he spent only one year before moving to Palermo.

Atletico Madrid to sign Osvaldo

Atletico Madrid already found a replacement for Aguero who joined Manchester City in a deal worth €40 millions. The Europa League contenders have reach an agreement over the transfer of Osvaldo from Espanyol.

Osvaldo will cost Atletico  €17 millions. Now the club will have to reach an agreement with the player but the Atletico Madrid president believes that this will only a formality.

Osvaldo impressed with his last season performances and attracted the attention of Roma and Tottenham but he declared that he prefers to remain in La Liga.

With this move there are some doubts over Falcao transfer who is another target. But  Forlan could be sold to Inter and in this case Falcao would be more than needed. Atletico have signed also Arda Turan from Galatasaray.

Osvaldo started his career at Huracan. He moved to Serie A where he played for Atalanta, Lecce, Fiorentina and Bologna.

In 2010 he was loaned to Espanyol who made th move permanent.
