Breno considers leaving Bayern

0

When Breno joined Bayern in 2008 he was seen as the perfect candidate to replace the old defenders from The Bavarian squad. Unfortunately for him the things  went not so good.

The Brazilian wonderkid failed to impress and earned only 8 appearences in 4 seasons at Bayern. When Lucio left Bayern for Inter it was tough that he will have more chances and will become a regular starter but it’s seems it’s not so. Indeed Breno had some bad luck, he got injured many times and this stopped his ascension.

Breno was loaned last season at FC Nuremberg to gain match practice and regain his fitness. The 20 years old defender who came from Cruzeiro declared that he will leave the club if thing will not improve for him.

Despite playing so rarely in the last couple of seasons Breno is still one of the most appreciated young defenders and probably there would be some big clubs interested on him.

Why Adrian Mutu could be the key for Fiorentina’s renaissance?

After only six games Fiorentina are on a disappointing 17th place.

If by last year Fiorentina was recognized as a force in Serie A the things have changed now and it looks like “La Viola” do not scare anyone.

Fiorentina scored only six goals but Sinisa Mihajlovic has some reasons to smile. Adrian Mutu‘s suspension will expire at the end of this month.

With Adrian Mutu suspended and Stevan Jovetic injured, goal responsibility falls on the shoulders of  Alberto Gilardino. Paolo Rossi, one of Juventus legends believes that Gillardino poor form will end with Mutu‘s return. Gilardino needs support up front and Mutu – Gilardino couple already proved to be one one the most lethal strike force.

Mihajlovic declared that he thinks that Mutu will need around 20 days to regain the form he had before suspension.

Mutu was close to leave Fiorentina this summer but eventually stayed in Florence. “Il Fenomeno” has big chances to become a key member of the squad if he will rediscover the good form.
