Will Liverpool miss Champions League again?

0

After seven games Liverpool are in the bottom three, and this is the worst start of the season since 1953-1954  when they relegated from first division.

The things seem to go increasingly worse for Gerrard and company. Everybody thought that after Benitez departure the things will start to work better but unfortunately it isn’t.

Besides the pathetic situation from the Premier League standings the financial problems are threatening the club. The financial problems could also cost Liverpool points.

The sum demanded by the American owners is considered too high by the potential buyers so that the crisis could continue.

If Liverpool will miss Champions League also this season then probably some of their star players will leave the club. Torres and Gerrard where the most hunted this season and considering the financial situation is hard to believe that they will stay for another year.

Liverpool will face Everton next game and this could be crucial for Roy Hodgson. Unfortunately for him Fernando Torres, the man that could make the difference, got injured last game.

The things have started to go from bad to worse at AS Roma as the club is having large debs to pay.

Even if the club is owned by Sensi family for some time now, who are very  attached to the club, it looks like they have no option but to sell the club. After a failed attempt this summer it seems like AS Roma is closer then ever to have a new owner.

The favorite to take the charge of the club is number 122 from the top with the richest men in the World, Leonid Fedun.

Fedun owns 9.2% of Lukoil, the Russian oil giant. Even if he owns also Spartak Moskova, Fedun wants to pay €200 millions plus debt for 50%  stake in the club. He has plans that by 2012 to buy another 35% to have full control of the club.

After the success he had Abramovic at Chelsea more and more billionaires have started to invest in football
