Mourinho wanted to use the 4-3-2-1 system which he used also at Chelsea but Quaresma and Mancini were not up to expectations so he dropped it finally.

The Portuguese made only 24 appearances for Inter during his 2 years at The Nerazzurri  and was even loaned at Chelsea for half of the season.

Quaresma arrived at Inter for a fee of around €18millions. The reports indicate that Besiktas paid only €7millions for the Portuguese winger and that he signed a three year contract.

Before Inter Quaresma played for Sporting, Barcelona and Porto.

More spactacular goals at World Cup 2010 because of ‘Jabulani’ ball?

0

The World Cup in South Africa is ready to begin, and as it was expected some critics appeared. One of them is related to “Jabulani”, the World Cup ball.

“Jabulani”, which means to celebrate in isiZulu, one of South Africa languages,  will be the only ball used at this World Cup tournament.

The ball has been tested since December as Adidas said, but the critics appeared recently. Top goalkeepers like Buffon, Cassilas or Julio Cesar said that the ball will be a nightmare for goalkeepers and that we might see spectacular goals in South Africa.

But not only goalkeepers complained about the ball, stikers like Pazzini or Gomez said that the ball is hard to control especially in the air.

The ball has a different weight that the others and the effects are changing based on altitude and climate.

Adidas responded to the critics saying that the ball was tested and approved long time ago. They also said that every World Cup participant teams received the ball in order to get used to the ball.

The World Cup games will start on 11 and to the delight of the fans we hope to be a ‘one hell of show’.

Inter killed football

Every football fan saw this Saturdays Champions League final between Inter Milano and Bayern Munchen,
and of course no one could be happier than the fans of Inter.Ecstatic fans of Inter Milano all over the world celebrated a victory that was fully deserved, and of course what can make you happier as a fan of a club when your favourite club wins after 45 years the most wanted title for a club, to be the Queen of Europe?

Inter achieved that title on Saturday night , making it’s fans all over the world ecstatic, but i have to ask
this : At what cost?

Surely they deservedwinning, but they did that by making a compromise, they killed the spectacle, they killed football, by heavily defending and counter attacking. Now i am going to be cursed by an entire people of fans of Inter Milano, and yes i admit, i am not a fan of Inter , never was, and will never be, but come one football fans, honestly did you really enjoyed the football mach displayed on Saturday?

If you were an independent football fan, not a fan of Inter or Bayern, did you really liked what you saw?
A team that defended heavily and scored by counter atacking in two occasions?

I didn’t like what i saw not one bit, it was a boring match, and i always prefer football as a spectacle, not just a game that you must do anything “legal” just to win it.

It is said that all is fair in love and war.

But not in football.Or at least it shouldn’t.

David Villa the new Barcelona acquisition

After a season in which Barcelona managed to win only Primera Division title despite being the main favorite to win the Champions League, Guardiola is already strengthening his team for the next season.

Although Messi managed to score 47 goals in all competitions this season, 34 of them in Primera for which he received the Golden Boot, it seems that Guardiola is not satisfied with the attack. Barcelona managed to secure the services of the Spanish goalscorer David Villa from Valencia for which they paid around €40 millions.

Zlatan Ibrahimovic, who came from Inter Milan last summer and which was seen by Guardiola as the ideal striker for Barcelona, seems to be out of the next seasons plans. Ibrahimovic often disappointed even if he scored 16 times only in Primera. He will probably be sold in England where is wanted by all major clubs or will be used as exchange for one of Fabregas, Rooney or Torres.

If these teams would refuse the exchange then Man City could be an option considering that they were always after big names lately.

Fabregas is also with one foot at Barcelona after latest reports which indicate that he already announced Arsene Wenger that he is determined to return back to Camp Nou.
