Real Madrid not giving up on Ronaldo

Real Madrid are willing to bring Ronaldo to Bernabeu with any cost and they are ready to pay €100 millions for the Portuguese star and offer him an annual salary of €12 millions.

There are sources that Ronaldo might have signed a confidential contract with Real Madrid.

Vicente Boluda, the interim president, intends to borrow around €70 millions for the transfer fee. Ronaldo could become the most expensive player in the football history but also the best payed if the transfer will be done.

Anyway Boluda plans could be ruined by Ferguson who definitely doesn’t want to lose his jewelry.The best player in the World in 2008-2009 season doesn’t seems to be effected by all that talk about him and continues to work hard on the field and the results are notable.

Ronaldo brought the victory for his country in the last game against Finland. The Portuguese star scored the only goal of the game after a penalty.

Ronaldo reached at Old Trafford after a game against England in which he impressed Ferguson with his qualities.

Chelsea looking for a new coach

If at the beginning of the season Abramovich hardly convinced Scolari to leave Portugal for Chelsea, now after only 7 months Abramovich changed his mind and sack the Brazilian.

Abramovich promised at the beginning of the season that he will be patient with the results and that Scolari will have all the support.

Chelsea are on a disappointing fourth place in Premier League, and managed to qualify to Champions League second round only in the last group game after beating 2-1 CFR Cluj.

Despite having the support of his players the negative results from last month and especially the draw with Hull City led to his dismissal. Abramovich has to pay Scolari around €10 million as compensation but this is not a problem for the Russian. The same happened with Mourinho and Grant.

If in the case of Mourinho the reason is clear, lately they could not stand each other, in Avram Grant case the reason is unknown because with him Chelsea finished second in Premier League and lost to penalties against Manchester in Champions League final.

Now Abramovich is looking for a coach and on top of the list are Frank Rijkaard, Roberto Mancini and Guus Hiddink. Abramovich would prefer Hiddink which is very appreciated by the Russian after latest results with Russia at last year European Championship.

Hiddink would take charge at Chelsea until summer with the option to extend the contract if the results will be as expected. In this four months Hiddink would receive approximately €3.5 million.

Huntelaar to leave Real Madrid in the summer

Big names like Ronaldo, Kaka and Villa were announced to come on Bernabeu last summer but in the end the most important names were Diarra and Huntelaar.

Huntelaar came to replace to replace Nistelrooy who suffered a major injury that will keep him outside the field for the rest of the season. Huntelaar came at Real Madrid after several seasons spent at Ajax Amsterdam for which he scored an impressive 105 goals in 128 games.

Huntelaar was thought to be the the perfect forward which fits perfectly with the style of play from Real Madrid and which will make forgotten the absence of Nistelrooy. But apparently Real Madrid stuff were wrong as he failed to shine at Bernabeu and more than that he is not at least a regular starter in Juande Ramos team. The 25-year old forward played only 3 games, only one as as starter.

Despite the fact that Ramos and the Real Madrid officials are still convinced that he will recover soon it seems that the player already lost his patience and is decided to leave in the summer. Another reason why Huntelaar is so determined is because Ramos has preferred Diarra in his detrimental for the Champions League list.

Milan and Arsenal are closely watching the situation and they may act in the summer if the things will not improve.

Romanian handball international Cozma murdered

The 26-year old Romanian international was murdered Saturday night in a nightclub from western Hungary.

Cozma joined Hungarian team Veszprem in 2006 from Dinamo Bucharest.

Cozma and other Veszprem players were celebrating in a nightclub when they had a dispute with another group.

The Romanian international was stabbed in the heart outside the club and died later on the road to hospital. Other two coleagues were injured, Croatian goalkeeper Ivan Pesic and Zarko Sesum from Serbia but they are out of danger.

Cozma was one of the leaders and also one of the hopes of the Romanian handball team. Cozma was even proposed to Barcelona, one of the biggest handball clubs in the world.

The Veszprem officials declared about Cozma that he was calm and that he would not hurt anyone. The Romanian international was stabbed also some years ago by some gypsies.

Next stage games from Hungary will begin with a moment of silence for the Romanian. Veszprem will play in Champions League against Ademar Leon from Spain next Sunday but the Hungarian officials will try to postpone the match because the team could still be in shock.
