0

Dejan Stankovic has decided that is best to leave Inter after nine years in which he has won everything with the club. The 34 years old midfielder played only a few games last season for The Nerrazzuri. Even if he declared a few months ago that he will stay with Inter until the end of his current contract it looks like he has changed his mind and mutually terminated the contract.

Stankovic has wrote a letter to the fans in which he thanks the fans for support and appreciation. He also wanted to thank to Inter president Moratti who has faith in him and brought him to Inter in 2004 from Lazio. Stankovic made 315 appearances for Inter.

The Serbian midfielder was one of the most appreciated Inter player because of his loyalty on the field. He was also one of the most feared players by the opponents. Even if he played in the center of midfield, his long shots and passes  used to destabilize the opponent defenses.

Stankovic is another big name from the team that won the “treble” with Inter in 2010 and who leaves to the club after Lucio, Sneijder, Eto’o and Julio Cesar.

Ajax loan Bojan Krkic

Ajax have completed the signing of the Spanish striker Bojan Krkic from Barcelona. The 22 years old forward joined the club on loan for 1 year with the option to extend the deal for another season.

Bojan is a Barcelona youth academy product but failed to live up the expectations. A few years ago he was considered one of the most talented young striker but now after 2 unsuccessfully seasons in Serie A the things have complicated a bit. Bojan was loaned two years ago at Roma and with Luis Enrique as coach everybody was expecting to see the best of him. That never happened and last year he switch the club and he joined AC Milan but the result was about the same.

Now Bojan and Barcelona are hoping that this spell in Eredivisie will revamp his career. It’s well known that Ajax are a club who are developing great talents and that are putting accent on youngsters.

Barcelona are looking after replacement for Charles Puyol as the Spanish defender is not at his prime. Puyol suffered a few long-term injuries in the last couple of seasons  and that was deeply felt by Barcelona.

The Spanish giants have a few options on the shortlist with names like Koscielny from Arsenal or Marquinhos from Roma.

Barcelona have made an offer of €20 millions on the Brazilian youngster but Roma are not willing to accept anything less than €30 millions. Marquinhos came at Roma from Corinthians last year but he already impressed the scouts from all over the World. The 19 years old defender is considered one of the most promising central defenders in Europe at the moment.

Barcelona brought Chygrynskiy a few seasons ago for the same reason but the Ukrainian defender failed to impose in the starting lineup.
